Why Choose a Phibrow Artist?

Phibrows is a European company that has created a world renowned method of performing microblading that consistently produces high quality results among their trained artists. Phibrow artists produce great work because they follow a very specific method that is taught to them through a rigorous 6 month training course. This course requires the artist to pass 11 levels of mastery to ensure that their methods and their work maintain a very high standard… the Phibrows standard.

The Phibrows method and tools have been meticulously designed and redesigned to aid their trained artists in producing very precise hairstrokes, perfect symmetry, and a beautiful eyebrow shape that goes with the natural shape of their client’s face and bone structure.

Phibrows products have also been tested and redesigned again and again to ensure the highest quality, to avoid any dangerous heavy metals found in most permanent makeup pigments and to provide color that stays.

It is for these reasons and more, that if you want great results with your microblading treatment, it is highly recommended that you seek out a Phibrows artist.

Lead Phi-Brow Artist, Ivana S is passionate about the art of beauty and will help enhance your self-confidence so you can not only look, but feel fabulous too.

Microblading your eyebrows is a very important decision and can be life changing.  Please do your research when deciding who to chose for eyebrow microblading.  An important factor is the type of products used. Remember that brown is not a color, but a mixture of black, red & yellow.  When artists use cheap pigments, they contain illegal levels of metals and the yellow will fade the quickest leaving the client with red or grey/blue eyebrows.  Unstable pigments can change color and fade quickly.

We care about our clients health & safety and only use the highest quality pigments.
Phi-Brow pigments are:

  • Exclusively made for microblading and allow easy application with excellent color retention.
  • Tartrazine free, as it is highly allergic artificial coloring additive. Therefore, risk of your client experiencing allergic reaction is very low.
  • It is not possible to develop reddish shadows.
  • It does not migrate under the skin.

Main advantage of using PHIBROWS pigments is that your clients are not exposed to heavy and toxic metals, that usually can be found in 98% of semi permanent pigment brands.

  • Vegan friendly.

HOW LONG DOES IT LAST?
Microbladed eyebrows last 1 to 2 years for most people, before it usually needs a yearly touch up.

HOW LONG IS THE APPOINTMENT?
It usually takes 2 hours, with most of the time spent going over colors, measuring and drawing eyebrow map. The microblading portion lasts 30-45 minutes.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO HEAL?
You’ll be able to wear your new brows back to brunch! In the first 7 days, you’ll need to avoid getting them wet, working out or wearing brow makeup. Read more on Aftercare here. It takes about 30 days to completely heal, in which time you may experience mild scabbing.

WHEN SHOULD I GET A TOUCH UP? HOW MUCH IS IT?
We offer a complimentary touch up between 4-6 weeks of your appointment. After that, we charge a fee. See pricing for microblading touchups and other services here.

CAN I GET MICROBLADING WHILE PREGNANT?
No, we do not recommend microblading while pregnant or breastfeeding.

WHO IS INELIGIBLE FOR MICROBLADING?
We do not provide microblading for people: under 18 years old, pregnant or nursing, if you have diabetes, glaucoma, skin diseases such as Shingles, psoriasis or eczema on the area of treatment, allergies to makeup, Keloid disorder, HIV/Hepatitis, skin cancer, hemophilia, or if you’re taking skin medications like ro-accutaine and steroids.

CAN MICROBLADING HIDE OR COVER UP AN EYEBROW TATTOO?
Often we cannot. But if the previous tattoo or permanent makeup has faded considerably, sometimes we can. You will want to book a consultation appt where we can assess your current brows and see what we are working with!

CAN MICROBLADING HIDE/COVER MY SCARS?
It’s great for that! But we recommend booking a consultation appt where our artists can assess and see if you would be a good candidate for microblading.

DOES MICROBLADING WORK ON ALL SKIN TONES AND SKIN TYPES?
Yes! Microblading works on all skin tones and types.

WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MICROBLADING VS. MICROPIGMENTATION?
Technically microblading is a form of micropigmentation, but we use a microblade to hand draw individual hair strokes. Micropigmentation specialists use a permanent makeup machine, which offers less control and results in blurrier strokes.

DOES IT LOOK LIKE REAL HAIR?
Yes! Because we hand draw every hair stroke, you’ll marvel at this super precise technique.

NO MORE DRAWING MY EYEBROWS EVERY MORNING? FOR REAL?
Believe it! This treatment transforms people’s lives! That’s why we’re so passionate at Lash Dolls about the work we do.

DO MY EXISTING EYEBROWS NEED TO BE SHAVED OFF FOR MICROBLADING?
Most definitely NOT! Please do not tweeze, thread, wax or modify your eyebrows in any way for as long as possible before your appointment. This will allow for your artist to custom a brow design that blends in with your natural hair growth. Your initial microblading service includes a brief consultation, followed by facial measurements, and a custom brow design outline for you to preview and approve. Any hair growth that falls outside of the design you choose may or may not be removed according to your preference. Your regular brow maintenance of tweezing, threading, waxing may continue once the brows have healed.

HOW LONG IS THE MICROBLADING HEALING PROCESS?
It is normal to experience minimal swelling and tenderness immediately following your procedure. This usually subsides within a couple days. The first few days following your procedure, the pigment will appear much darker than how it will appear once it has healed. Around the 1st or 2nd week post procedure, the skin naturally exfoliates and regenerates. During this time, the pigment may appear “foggy” and difficult to see. Around week 4, when the skin completes healing, you will see the pigment become more visible. Your Complimentary Touch Up Session must be scheduled 4-6 weeks after your initial appointment in order to perfect your desired brow color, achieve symmetry, and add density to any sparse areas.

HOW OLD DO I HAVE TO BE TO GET MICROBLADING?
You must be 18 years or older to receive Microblading at Lash Dolls

HOW WILL I LOOK IMMEDIATELY AFTER MICROBLADING?
Your brows will appear darker and more intense than expected for the first few days or so. This will gradually lighten during the healing process. Slight redness and swelling is expected. You do not need to go into hiding, however! 😉
